Molly Boyer, a South Louisiana native and Belhaven University graduate, discovered her love for photography at Belhaven in 2014. Although, as a young girl her interest in capturing fleeting moments on camera did not go unnoticed, only recently has it become a necessity for her to respond visually in order to understand, affirm, and clarify life and the people around her. These images reflect as a self portrait for temporary stages in life and seek to capture experiences felt in moments of time, that are left open for the viewers interpretation.
Michaela Fisk is a Louisiana native and Visual Arts student at Belhaven University. She has always been interested in the arts and in recent months has launched her career as a studio artist, working in drawing and installation. She seeks to capture the character of her surrounding environments, mainly architectural scenes in her drawings; while her sculptures are based around ideas of flow and movement. Michaela hopes to instill in viewers an awareness of the spaces they are in, or have been in before, through her work.
